In short

This site sets no cookies, embeds no analytics and loads no fonts from third-party servers. Technically necessary server logs are created when you visit. A YouTube video only loads once you click it. Purchases run through Lemon Squeezy.

1. Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data: IP address, time, requested address, transferred data volume, browser identification. This processing is required to operate the site.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare; transfers to third countries are safeguarded by EU standard contractual clauses.

2. Fonts

The Switzer typeface is served from this server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other third-party provider.

3. YouTube videos

Videos are initially embedded as a still image only. Only when you click "Play" is a player loaded from youtube-nocookie.com (Google Ireland Limited). Your IP address and device information are then transmitted to Google; Google may link the request to your account if you are signed in.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You give your consent by clicking "Play". Nothing is transmitted without that click.

4. Purchase of digital products

Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy LLC acting as merchant of record. When you open the checkout and complete a purchase, Lemon Squeezy processes the data you enter (name, e-mail address, payment details, billing country) under its own responsibility.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract). Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy applies.

5. Contact by e-mail

If you write to me, I process your details to handle the enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. Messages are deleted once they are no longer needed.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw any consent at any time. Competent supervisory authority: Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

7. Storage in your browser

The site remembers your most recent filters in your browser's sessionStorage, and in localStorage which tutorials you watched and which topic you chose to see first. None of this leaves your device; the tutorial history has a visible "Forget this" control, and the topic choice is undone by clicking its chip again.
